U.S. Department of State responds to terrorist threats with purchase of Defenshield products.
Adding to equipment already in place at embassies in Greece, Afghanistan, and Kuwait, the US Department of State has just purchased Defenshield ballistic equipment worth several hundred thousand dollars for the protection of diplomats and assets in what is potentially the most dangerous place on earth.
Defenshield products are already in use by the DoD at the Pentagon and over 100 bases and posts globally. Defenshield products are also used by the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, Treasury, Mint, Secret Service, Marshalls Service, State Local and Municipal Law Enforcement as well as civilian use with multiple customers in the Space Exploration and Nuclear industry. Global outreach has resulted in the deployment of Defenshield ballistic products to dozens of countries, with the US military alone reporting that scores of lives have been saved.
Defenshield SafePoint units deployed at the US Pentagon were instrumental in saving the lives of Jeffrey Amos and Marvin Carraway when they were attacked by a gunman at the Entry Control Point to the Pentagon in April of 2010.
Defenshield is proud to serve the US Department of State and is looking forward to protecting US interests, assets, and personnel around the world.
