New Website, New Products, New Growth in Central New York
April 2nd, 2009
Defenshield Inc., an engineering and development company specializing in bullet, blast and fragment resistant equipment for the government, military, law enforcement and the private sector, announces the launch of its new website, showcasing its latest defensive product offerings for 2009.
“Over the last several months, we’ve developed a significant number of new products to enhance the safety and protection of our nation’s security officers and combat personnel,” said Defenshield President Collins White. “We are pleased to integrate these offerings into the Defenshield line up and make them available online.”
Defenshield’s engineering department works closely with its customers to design and develop defensive equipment that meets the needs of today’s combat soldiers and security personnel. Upon completion of engineering and design, all manufacturing is routed along the Upstate NY Thruway corridor, keeping local businesses busy with production of durable goods. Defenshield consciously engages with local suppliers for nearly all facets of its business, including marketing, manufacturing and material supply.
Defenshield also works with distributors and governments of allied countries to export its NY-manufactured goods globally. Most recently, the company teamed with the US Department of Commerce to introduce its products in Singapore. “We just returned from a week of intense meetings in Singapore with a handful of potential distributors and several RFQs,” stated Mr. White. “We look forward to continuing to work with the USDC to assist Mexico with its current border crisis.”
Since 2008, Defenshield has launched nearly a dozen new products that protect the men and women who protect us. Products are deployed throughout the United States, including high profile situations in the Capital area such as the Pentagon, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the US Naval Observatory. Many are also deployed overseas in combat and defensive positions including the US Embassy in Kabul and numerous command centers and forward operating bases throughout Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait.
