Ballistic Protection Solutions for Government Buildings

Government buildings are at a higher risk of break-ins and attacks than other types of facilities. As a result, security officials responsible for protecting others need to know who is coming and going at all times. They also need access to resources they can rely on during tense situations. Behind MDFP units or bullet-resistant furniture, security can identify threats sooner and possibly save more lives.

Ballistic protection solutions for federal agencies and government buildings offer excellent maneuverability, allowing security personnel to use them almost anywhere. Many of our equipment options also feature Camography™. This allows equipment to seamlessly blend into the atmosphere of a government building while offering protection against some of the most powerful firearms.

We have a variety of custom security solutions that are NIJ ballistically rated and designed for maximum mobility. Defenshield partitions, defensive barriers and workstations are ideal for building entrances, exits and security checkpoints as a way to combat security risks for government buildings.

Ballistic-Resistant Shields for Indoor Security

Ballistic-resistant shields are excellent solutions for indoor security personnel at government agencies. In addition to protecting officers from bullets and blasts during security breaches, they can serve as deterrents for people who may be planning attacks.

Our MDFP barriers are easy to deploy in high-traffic work environments, and we offer them with a variety of accessories to ensure safety and mobility. Defenshield systems come in multiple levels of protection, from National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Level II-certified resistance to NIJ Level IV-certified armor-piercing resistance. Some of our most durable MDFPs, such as the DS-190 Series, can even handle up to 30-06 armor-piercing rounds.

Defenshield also offers other products, such as glass partitions for maximum visibility and Barrier Cap™ protection for federal agency control points. Our physical security equipment for government buildings provides top-to-bottom protection while allowing security personnel to enjoy 360-degree vision, wherever they are on the site.

Our fighting positions and workstations come with swivel casters and a range of other benefits so you can establish a safe, comfortable workplace without having to spend extra hours on installation. Defenshield can deliver a unique solution that helps you uphold high safety standards, even in complex building setups. Along with our ballistic equipment for federal agency security, we also offer consultations for specific projects to assist with physical security efforts.
