Defenshield and Transportation: A Growing Physical Security Partnership

Defenshield works closely with airport, port, and other transportation authorities across the United States and the world to provide the very best ballistic protective equipment available today.

While each transportation venue is unique in its specific security needs, balancing law enforcement professionals and transportation authority executives respective requirements is a challenge. From airports to train stations, Defenshield has extensive experience in finding this balance and providing the right ballistic protective solution in the right configuration at the right location.

Airports remain a target of choice for jihadist networks, terrorist groups and other violent individuals. Many airports have begun incorporating physical security components from Defenshield which provides ballistic protection while not looking out of place.

Defenshield’s products are the most in-demand ballistic protection solution in use at airports today. MDFPs /SafePoint Security Stations are  ballistically certified by the National Institute of Justice to provide head to toe protection on a mobile platform and can blend into the most interior environments. Accessories are also available, including M4 weapon racks, awnings, shelves and front work stations, to increase capabilities and maximize their use. In addition, custom solutions, from four sided guard posts to glass partitions, are also available to meet specific environmental and operational needs.
